Today, our school was Evacuated at [time] because of [Insert Event if appropriate]. We are in contact with emergency services who are overseeing the situation. The students are being supervised in a [secure location] near the school.
Parents and Guardians PLEASE DO NOT come to the school, contact your child’s phone, or phone the school. It is important for us to keep the phone lines and traffic lanes open, so the appropriate authorities can assess and mitigate the situation quickly and appropriately.
We will advise you when the Evacuation is lifted. In the event students and staff cannot return to the school further information will be provided using our school websites and the appropriate communication channels.
