Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) |
Guardianship and trusteeship are two different legal roles. A guardian is responsible for the care of a person legally unable to care for themselves. This role may safeguard their property not held in trust. A trustee manages property held in trust for the benefit of another. |
