Dear Parents/Guardians;

We have had an excellent beginning to our school year and we feel very blessed to be able to work together with parents and students to make St. Gregory such an awesome school.

We have a busy month ahead of us and I know that all of our students are excited about both Thanksgiving and the Hallowe'en activities that we participate in at our school. Please review our school calendar that is being sent home for important upcoming dates.

We now welcome all of our Kindergarten students to school as they will be beginning their first full week of school shortly. We know that this is a big event in their lives and we are excited at the prospect of them becoming "full-time" students.

Shortly, we will be selling school apparel; hoodies, sweat pants and toques. This only happens every other year and the price list and sizing information will be sent home in the very near furture.

Once again our school is sending nearly 30 students to Spruce Grove for the annual district cross country race this week and we are thankful for the coaching and guidance of Mrs. McKort, Mrs. Newman, Ms. Henderson, Mrs. Braucht and Mrs. Batovanja. We wish all of our competitors a great race and a fun-filled day! As well, this year we will continue to our annual inter-school Cross-Country Maxwell Lake Loop Run! It is scheduled for the first week of October and is should be very exciting!

Lastly, we would encourage all parents to become involved at our school in any capacity, from being a volunteer supervisor to becoming a member of our parent council, or to simply being in attendance at any of our liturgies or school events. Your presence here really sends a message to our students that we care about them and the success of our school is built on these partnerships between school and home. We really appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing everyone here and sharing your time with us.

Yours in Christ,

Mr. Fafard – Principal
